Monday was the great day when we collected the new boat from Dale Sailing in Neyland, Pembrokeshire. The pictures show the new boat in the workshop with the mould alongside, Pippa with Carl from Dale and the boat ready to leave with the Cleddau Bridge behind.
The boat is now in the new MYC compound ready to be commissioned but not yet used. Your committee will be meeting next weekend where decisions concerning the boat and its use will be made.
By the time the boat is on the water, fully equipped we will have spent over £10,000. Hence may we remind you, yet again, that all boats and kit must be treated with the utmost care and respect at all times.
